Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you WAFFLES from Wafflemeister.
Wafflemeister is a Belgian waffle joint that has recently opened up a kiosk at KLCC 3rd floor. They have a considerably small option of waffles available but I can guarantee you, they are all you need to satisfy your waffle cravings. You can even choose between dark, milk or white chocolate for the sauce you want to top your waffles with. They even have an option of serving Gelato (Italian ice cream) on top of your waffles or if you prefer, have the Gelato alone.
I for one am a huge fan of Gelato but seeing as it was my first time trying their waffles, I decided to try the waffle without any Gelato so as to not cloud my judgement of the waffles because anything with Gelato, me likey.
The waffle I ordered was their Strawberry Heaven with comes with whipped cream, strawberries and dark chocolate sauce and my mom ordered their Go Bananas which has whipped cream, bananas, nuts and dark chocolate sauce.
I must say, their waffles are definitely delicious. The waffles themselves are crispy on the outside and chewy and soft on the inside. The whipped cream has a nice consistency and is not too sweet. The strawberries are fresh and juicy and not too sour. The dark chocolate sauce is an excellent addition to top the waffles off with. A little note though, the utensils they provide you are made of plastic, so using them to eat the waffles can be quite a challenge.
I also ordered their hot Mocha (right) and my mom ordered their hot Cappuccino (left). The coffees come without sugar so if you prefer your coffee sweet, do grab some sugar from their counter. I love how they added the little chef designs with cocoa powder. The coffees are aromatic but the taste is average, just like how coffee is suppose to taste like. I didn't add enough sugar in my Mocha so I didn't really like how bland it tasted without the sugar.
In a nutshell, I do recommend going over to Wafflemeister to try out their waffles because they are simply awesome. I would love to go back again to try their Gelato. The staff is friendly and their service is pretty fast too. A little warning though, they have VERY limited seats since it's a kiosk, so do find the right time to dine in, if not just pack it to eat at home or anywhere else.
