A Taste of Korea at Oiso

Oiso is a casual eatery that serves home-style Korean food cooked to the family recipes of owner Kim Young Jun. Unlike the more common Korean barbecue, little cooking is done table-side save perhaps for the stirring of the delicious bibimbap (RM14.90) – rice in a red-hot stone bowl together with vegetables, egg, beef, seaweed and red pepper paste (aka gochujang).

Oiso means ‘ welcome’ in Korean. The owner of this restaurant, Kim has lived in Malaysia for 10 years already and she used to be a bowling instructor. She has two outlets now at Ikano Power Centre and at Bangsar South.

Do try out this restaurant if you want to try sould-satisfying Korean food at a very reasonable price.
